The FCCP Project produces emission free cargo bikes, with sufficient range and constant performance through all seasons providing significant potential to reduce emissions and congestions in cities and thus to improve livability. As alternatives to batteries a fuel cell system tailor made for the mobile application in cargo pedelecs is tested within this project. The objective is to demonstrate the potential of FCCPs to replace combustion engine vehicles and constantly reduce CO2 emissions, traffic jams and delays in deliveries.
The Goal of Gustave Eiffel University in this project is to create an energetic numerical model in order to simulate the functionning of the bicycle. This model will then allow to determinate it’s consumption and to improve energy management of the system.
